Flying, Chasing and Falling Dreams
FLYING DREAMS: Have you ever dream of flying through the sky and looking down below with eagle vision? You can see very minute details, even an ant carrying its dinner into a hole. As you glide way up high in the sky you feel a sense of freedom and excitement. Your heart is pounding rapidly with the excitement. You feel that you have actualized and that all is well. Then you saw an old woman crossing the street and a car is about to hit her so you swoop down and you awake with a start!
THE CHASE: Have you ever dream of being chased by a bull? You are running as fast as you can and the bull is gaining on you. It is about to buck you with its deadly horns and then you yank open a door just in time to escape the wrath of the crazy bull.
FALLING: How about swimming in a crystal clear water of the ocean? As you swim you are gracefully treading water, you smell the ocean and it calms you, you also taste the salty water and you almost gag as some goes down your throat. You spit it out and then you start to sink like a rock to the bottom of the ocean. You panic and just as you are about to hit the ocean floor, you wake up gasping for air.
Karl Jung sees dreams as a way of communicating and aquainting yourself with the unconscious. Jung argues that dreams are not attempts to conceal your true feelings from the waking mind, but they were windows to our unconsciousness. That means that dreams allow you to understand with a little more clarity what is happening to you in challenges of daily life.
I suppose then that the flying dream means that unconsciuosly, you want to be free or maybe you want to be Superman, rescuing the vulnerable from evil villians. Jung would analyse the flying dream above as suggesting that one is in top of the situation and that it may also mean that you have gained a different perspective on things.
Karl Jung would analyse the chase dream as steming from feelings of anxiety in your waking life. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in your environment. In these dreams, you can be pursued by an attacker, an animal or an unknown figure, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. In turn, you run, hide or try to outwit your pursuer. Your actions in the dream parallel how you respond to pressure and cope with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it. I agree with Jung here as an avoider personality dislikes confrontation, so flight not fight.
The falling dream is anlaysed by Jung as an indication of insecurities, instabilities, and anxieties. You are feeling overwhelmed and out of control in some situation in your waking life. This may reflect the way you feel in your relationship or in your work environment. You have lost your foothold and can not hang on or keep up with the hustle and bustle of daily life. When you fall, there is nothing that you can hold on to. You more or less are forced toward this downward motion without any control. This lost of control may parallel a waking situation in your life. Again Jung is correct, I've had this dream when I am most stressed at work or whenever I feel totally out of control.
I think this also begs for one last analysis, that of swimming. To dream of swimming suggests that you are exploring aspects of your conscious mind and emotions. The dream may be a sign that you need to seek some sort of emotional support.
We can become aware of life's challenges through various ways, our dreams is one way. Another means which is all encompassing, is seeking directions from God through prayer, meditation and stillness or through the reading of his word. Whatever means we use, it is important that we become conscious of the unconscious to learn life's valuable lessons.

We all dream for a reason and while we sleep our mind takes us to other places far away. Most of the time time those dreams takes us to the places that we have been before.

I don't really know what dreams mean. But I do believe that dreams reflect what we are doing in the reality. It is a channel of communication with the higher self. Yet sometime we could be aware in the middle of the dream knowing that we are indeed dreaming, the lucid dream. We could navigate inside it and do what we want.

I have experienced the lucid dream on several occasions, where I didn't like how a real life event occurred and during a dream about the event, I determine how the event should have actually happened, thus giving the outcome that I wanted. I tried to explain this to a friend and she thought that I was crazy. I am so glad that you brought this up.

Two reasons, first, I have some othe things going on here which I need to settle and second, I don't quite qualify to make one until I have done much researches. I have read about lucid dreaming few years back, quite interested in it and did experience it few time, but It took no effort from me. I just simply found myself navigating in my dream and I know it consciously.
Much thanks metaphysician. I am very interested in the topic as I believe that it does have much implication to my purpose and my life. No pressure though, whenever you have the time, I'll be more than happy with that.

Michael, thanks for stopping by. You are the best person to analyse your dreams. Like many experts suggest, I would recommend that you write down your dreams. Look for symbols or main ideas, such as a building, animal, person, setting etc.
Write down what feelings you had during the dream.
Think of what is happening in your life at the time of your dream and you will be able to determine what the events or symbols in your dream are telling you.
After writing down your dreams for some time, you may even begin to see patterns or re-occurring themes. These can show you what the unconscious mind has not processed which can help you in your daily life.

Vizey, thanks for stopping by. I agree, God uses many means to communicate to us and dreams is one way. As in the Bible Joseph had dreams that warned him of impending danger. I don't believe that there is a sole interpretation to a dream. Dreams are always in context to one's life. Of course there are collective consciousness and so some dreams themes are universal in their meaning.

Marilyn, thanks for dropping by. I am not a dream expert, but I will make a few suggestions. Only you can truely interpret what your dream mean. Dreams are very personal. Our dream is an unconscious reaction to our real life challenges or events.
The chickens may be symbols of personal fears or challenges; something that others may think that would not faze you; something that you may have led others to believe that you are handling well, but not.
Fighting represent resistance/struggle, so whatever the personal challenge/fear is you have not dealt with it on a conscious level. Your unconscious mind is telling you to face it and deal with it because it could be negatively impacting your emotions or even your health.
So listen to your unconscious mind and go deep and think what could be bothering you. You may be surprise what it is. In any case it will bring you some closure and perhaps joy. I would also suggest that you write down this dream; writing down the two main themes; chicken and fighting. Write down whatever deep fears that you have right now, go deep. What make you angry, disappointed, sad, frustrated? These are emotional clues of resistance.
As the wizard in The Wizard of Oz, said you always have the answer... Look deep!

I had a dream last night, that I was about 6 inches tall. And I was standing ontop of a polar bear trying to kill this guy. And that guy was trying to kill me. Then he pushed me into the snow.

To begin understanding what your dream is telling you, start by looking at the symbols in the dream, such as what does being 6" tall mean; what does standing on a polar bear mean? a guy and snow. The main theme is one of a struggle.
Your dream may mean that you are dealing with some emotional struggles. It could be about defining who you are; or how someone makes you feel. You are aware of your vulnerability. Ask yourself the questions: What is making me feel small? Why am I not acknowledging my feelings? The polar bear means that there is an awakening happening, but you are struggling against it. Why? What do you need to get rid of in your life? You are looking to another, perhaps someone who you perceive to be more logical than you are to help you decide or even decide for you. You are hoping that he will 'push' you in the right direction. You have unacknowledged strengths, so recognize them and go for your dream. You are worth it.

ava c, thanks for dropping by. The synchronicity with your dream and waking life is no coincidence. Our dreams mirror what happens in our waking lives. As a child I had dreams of flying and soaring; in my adult life I have no dreams of flying - this mostly because my emotions have been supressed and in adulthood we are bombarded by life's decisions and challenges.
I do not however agree that 'dreams are the ying of our yang world' I think that dreams are the same side of a coin - not the opposite side. It is the part of the coin that cannot be seen with the naked eyes. In agreement to Jung, I believe that our dreams are our unconscious self seeking to inform our conscious mind. I strongly believe that our dreams are bridges to more fully understand our world and ourselves as well as our roles within the world. It is the teacher who quietly nodges us ever so subtly into actualizing our world.
We need to listen to its biddings. So indeed dream on...

Two nights ago I experienced what I believe to be a prophetic dream. As a matter of fact I've been having very lucid dreams three nights in a row. But two nights ago I dreamt of my daughter's younger brother. He's 15 and she's 28. Since my daughter is an only child both her dad and his wife allowed me to be in their sons life. Since he was around 1 or 2 yrs old I've had the opportunity to watch him, be a part of his life. I'm very close to him and love him as if he were my own. This past Sunday he stopped by to pick up his sisters boyfriends Christmas gift. He was also in a hurry because his grandmother on moms side had been admitted into the hospital - she'd felt dizzy and they left her there for a few days for observation - she has other medical problems. He also went to check on his grandpa. Whom he said was fine.
So, getting back to my dream two nights ago... In that dream, he was sitting at my dining table his back towards me. He sat alone. His phone rang and he began to talk to his friend. I stood in my kitchen listening to him and he told his friend "I got the stuff." These words stood out to me - and in the dream I worried "about the stuff." We'd had a conversation a few months back about some of his "new friends" at his h.s. Anyway, yesterday morning I told my daughter about the dream. I also told my brother.
Yesterday evening about or close to 5:00pm I was sending my thoughts and prayers to an online friend who is very ill and hadn't seen her post anything for a while. She simply stated on her post she was now in Gods hands. Right about the time I was about to post my comment the phone rang. It was my daughter's brother and he asked what I was doing - I asked him how school was... I'd completely forgotten I'd dreamt with him the night before. He went on to tell me he'd be off the rest of the week. I asked why? He said his grandpa died last night.
I felt awful and told him I was sorry and to send my condolences to his mom. I hung up feeling strange. Still not remembering the dream. I lit a candle for his grandpa and my friend. That's when I remembered. The candle was on my dining room table where he sat in my dream.

One thing is for sure you do care about this person, you are concerned about peer pressure; you're concerned about the decisions he makes; you have his back.

i dont really have the falling and losing my stomach dreams. I have the slip and fall dreams, for ex. my high heal breaks, im on ice, im skating, etc. and i don't just have them every once in a while, i have them all the time.

So I would suggest that you pay attention to your dream and what is happening in your waking life. Look for the correlations.
Your dream may indicate that you have some insecurities about doing something that you do not really want to do. You are perhaps a 'pleaser' and have difficulty saying 'no'. You care about others and what they think about you. Now that is not a negative trait, but like any other personal trait, must be moderated.

I had a dream that I was falling in water. I fell in and was swiming. I have know clue what it means. I didn't wake up until I hit the water.

For many people who are afraid of large bodies of water, a dream of swimming can be startling, especially if you fall into it. for the past 6 months ive been having very strange dreams... reoccuring especialy bombing war and fighting dreams. my dreams also go back to when i was in highschool and in serbia. alot of the time i have dreams about random hook ups in clubs and sex dreams but i have a boyfriend and in the dreams i know i have one i dont seem to care about it inside the dream.. its very weird and most mornings i wake up really freaked out by my dreams :(

Determine your feelings about your current relationship; is it what you want? Are you happy within the relationship? If you are happy, then explore your past sexual experience which might be impacting the present one. You might not feel connected to your partner...
Recurring dreams mean that you have not fully explore what your subconscious mind is processing about events of your waking life. Be silent fully think through what your inner mind is hiding or does not want to face. Something from your past is invading your present consciousness.

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me what it means to dream that you are in a maze of some sorts and their is a serial killer around. You are with your child and you get separated. He winds up in a cell with someone who is then murdered. When I found him and saw that he was with someone who appeared to be asleep, I was relieved and then I reallized that my child was the killer. This bothered me so much that I would not go back to sleep. I did not want to continue to dream this dream.
Usually when I dream of my son, it is of losing him or leaving him somewhere or that his father comes and takes him. This is the first time that I have dreamt that he killed someone. I know that he is not the person that I dreamt but it still troubled me.
Whenever I have any of these dreams, I find it hard to go back to sleep. I don't want to continue the course of the dream and can't control it to make it change.
Can you tell me what my dreams are trying to tell me?

I had a dream the other night and it still has me thinking of the meaning. I mean I know kind of, but it's just haunting me.
I was kind of of floating out onto a lake and then I was watching someone that was on a small raft. They were in a contest of some sort and then someone one came out of the water and had a book or something that the person in the raft was to read and they got some kind of award for whatever it was they were doing.
Anyway I was told--yes told by someone--like no one was there but I heard it say---look beneath the surface.
Then is was watching two people walk in a kind of swampy area around a beach on an island. The swampy was more like lots of water in the sand and it was clear and only up to the ankles. Someone was on the other side that they were to be on and they were coaching them. They did get to the other side just fine with no problems or anything.
Then I was in the dream and not watching anymore and was coming up to a Easel or something that you show things with the an audience. There was an empty purple bucket hanging on the left side of it. I was going to fill it up with my Avon Brochures and the words that I heard was Purple Passion. The color purple was a pastel purple.
Any help would be greatly appreciated here! I can understand about looking beneath the surface, but the Purple Passion--I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.

The rabbit and the cactus needles do go together; they are the yin and yang of life - the positive and the negatives that we all encounter in our lives. Navigating these duality can be challenging and rewarding. The influence of yin and yang has more positive effects in your life, that makes you lucky. You should always be conscious of the presence of both and work to balance them. The cactus needles represents your wish to establish boundaries in your personal life. Thank You Dymnamic. I have a few things going on at the moment and two of which I am loving doing. One is Hubpages and the other is Avon, which I just started a few weeks ago and yes I am kind of dissappointed in that I thought that I would have mor on-line customers than I have. I am making some progress with the locals too, but without a second car --well that is why I need to do more on-line selling. The question is HOW? You are correct. I am taking things that just pop out of my head to do for local but sending out slips of paper with a meeitng time in my area so that they can get to know me, order their products and I get paid (upfront payments now, and they pick up their orders the next week. I am resurceful and creatinve and I know this, jut sometimes I get a little stuck.

If you mean remembering your dream, than dream experts say that you can program your subconscious mind prior to going to sleep. What this means is that you say to yourself before falling asleep that you will remember your dreams and if you wake up immediately after a dream, you write it down right away and not wait until in the morning or you may forget it.
If on the other hand, by assessing you mean understanding your dream, then you write down your dreams. Write down all the main themes within the dream, such as people, places, animals, things, significant words, sayings or symbols, any dominant emotions experienced during the dream. You then think about your current circumstances and what issues/concern/excitement/anxiety that you might be experiencing with - family, relationships, work or career. Look for parallels in your dreams. While you work through the themes and your current circumstances; write down any thought that comes to mind. Your subconscious always has the correct answer for your specific circumstances. Dreams are ALWAYS in context of what is happening in your life even though sometimes we get dreams for other people who are close to us.
After thinking about your dreams and recording them for a while you will be able to determine the pattern and the symbolism for yourself.

To dream that you are lost represents your insecurities about some waking situations. The good news is that if you take stock, be quiet enough and search your soul, you will find what als you.
Ask yourself: what is my subconscious trying to tell me about my life? What are the lessons that I'm not getting? What are the situations that keep recurring in my life?
Then be still and the answers will come to you. They may show up in a dream, a thought or something you hear, see or read. Stay open and the answers will show up.

okay could you possibly help me with my dream? on the first night i dreamt that a frenemy started punching me in the eye at school, everyone ignored it, and then i fell to the ground and she kicked and punched me in the stomache and i lay in a pool of my own blood in the classroom and everyone ignored it as if it wasnt happening.
the second night i dreamt that i was in school in the foyer and i was with justin bieber? cause we had a thing, and then i suddenly couldnt breathe and i fell to the ground and collapsed, he carried me to the nurse and then she fed me skittles and i woke up and he was gone. and then i went to the basketball courts and this big group of boys were ganging up on me and pinned me up against the metal fence, and started to sexually harass me.
third night, i dreamt that i was in school and this girl who i kinda hate came up to me and i was telling her how everyone had been ignoring me over the summer and she told me that this girl who i used to be best friends with but then she screwed me over cause she thought i was a slut was ignoring and avoiding me all summer,

I dreamt that i was at a place with my one friend doing some study work preparing an assignment & there was a group of a few frnds nearby us.. when i ad finished we were about to leave but one of the girls of that group snatched that assignment from me & kept with her & i started fighting with her to have my assignment back but she gave it someone else & that guy starting running, I also ran behing him & behind him I entered a room where a class was going on jz between one teacher & one student & that student was my frnd, jz formally i knew him not at all gud frnds infact i had met him last around 5 months ago, the guy who was running ahead me with my assignment returned it to me in front of him & went away. I was about to stop him & ask y he did it but that frnd of mine stopped me & called me by my name on which the teacher teaching him also got to remember me, she said she is an old school teacher of mine but i could not recognize her, she told me to stay there & study what she was teaching alond with my frnd, I could not refuse her so i stayed. me & my frnd both were standing & she started teaching on the board, then suddenly that frnd of mine hugged me from back & i got scared, bcoz of that i cud not understand anything what she was teaching, i tried to remove his hands but could not, he was very near to me & i got very much nervous..So that i could not say anything to teacher he kept his hands on my mouth but then removed himself & again kept on my waist.. before i cud see anything else I got awake from my sleep.. Hi, I regularly have dreams that I am passing away and if I dont open my eyes, I would never get up. I seem to get it only during the night when I sleep and I feel I am sinking and try to grapple waking my husband sleeping next to me, but I am frozen. My eyes are heavy and I struggle to keep them open.It is a very scary feeling and I Would please like to know what it means.It leaves me in tears every time it happens as to if I let go I will never wake up.Help! I've had a dream a bunch of times awhile ago, but am now having the same type of dream again now. It's always a differant situation, but in every single dream I can not keep my eyes open! It's frusterating, but no matter what it always feels like i'm fighing to keep my eyes from shutting.

Okay well I always ternd to have really strange dreams that stick with my all day and sometimes even longer like dyas or weeks. All my friends think it's really weird, and so do I. My most recent dream that keeps puzzling me is that I'm driving a car but I'm not paying attention to the road I'm looking down at my feet,I'm flooring it and everytime i try to use the brake it doesn't work. I have had dreams similar to this before but usually i had stolin my dads car and im goin down a hill and can't stop, or I crash into something....

hii..this is Teena here again.. I told u about my dream around 3 or 4 weeks ago, u suugested me that i shud talk to that guy if he continues to appear in my dream but no its nt lyk dat, he is now not appearing in my dream bt it seems everythng is going on so weirdly..
though he lives nearby my house but still before dat dream i never saw him anywhere lyk in the market nearby or anywhere but after that dream he keeps appearing in front of me.. usually i go to park or sumwhere with my frnd in the evening as i used to go before but never saw him anywhere before but now i see him in sum days or soo & d strange is dat isaw him regularly in last 3 days at 3 diffrent places..& infact i dnt get to know dat sumone is around when m with my fnd & d same happened the 3 times i crossed him, i got to know dat he is standng when i reached vry close to him & i jz turned my face around without sayng hii or even without passing smile.. this all happening with me does not seems to be natural to me, i dont know what this all is going on.. now i decided not to get dowm of my home for 1 or 2 weeks, dont knw whether its right decision or not.. I dont y but i hav intuition that this all is some or the other indication to me but m not getting what indication is it.. Please help me to get out of all this.....

I typically have a lot of dreams...quite often in color but I had a dream this week where I was walking along what seemed to be a train yard or train station...I was walking and looking for an occult store (can't imagine why it would be there) and people in a camper drive by me and ask me if I want a ride. I tell them no and think to myself how I would never accept a ride from someone. So I fing the store and I know because there is a neon sign on the window. I go inside and I can actually SMELL incense in my dream. (I have never been able to smell anything in my dream before)I know the store is closing so I am looking for a piece of paper to write on. I want it for the phone number but I believe I wrote on it "Please help me" Do you have any idea what this dream was about and why I was able to smell the incense in it? I do have a store near me that I have been to like that and it does smells that way when you go inside but it doesn't look like the one in my dream inside.

Hello dynamics I was hoping you could help me figure out what this dream means.
I dreamt that me and three other people were in a living room in the dark. I was sitting very relaxed on the corner of a couch. An old woman in the dream was trying to turn on a lamp that was on a table in front of me. The light would flicker but slowly it began to turn on brighter and brighter. As soon as it began to turn on bright the lamp began to levitate off the table. At this time the woman let go of it and walked away slowly. She seemed to expect it. The higher it livitated the brighter the light got and the stronger I felt a certain power come over me. my body got so tense and my eyes began to close. It was like how I've seen people get in movies when their communicating with spirits or something. My vision was facing up even though my eyelids were closed. All I could see was the bright kinda yelowish light. It was like a screen. When I would look down and away from the screen I would feel normal again. But then I looked back up into the back of my eyelids. Into my screen because I wanted to see what would appear. And then I saw the words "you have to deliver a message" or "you have a message to deliver" I don't remember exactly. Then I looked Back down and felt like I was waking up. When I woke up in the middle of the night I was laying on my back and felt like my eyes had really been doing that.

lara, sorry for just getting back to you. It sounds like a frustrating problem. It also sounds like you have a crush on this person but he is acting in a negative way to you.
First thing that I will say is that boys sometime act that way to girls that they really like. He might be unsure how to approach you - he might be thinking that you'll reject him. It sounds like it is his insecurity that is upsetting you.
I understand that it is difficult for you to find the courage to ask him if he likes you. Maybe you should let him know how his actions are affecting you. So the next time that he says something negative - let him see how it affects you by showing your real emotions or you can say exactly what you feel. He might not react immediately but will definitely think about it and perhaps will realize how his action is impacting you.

Anyway, you must really have liked this guy becuse you are not accepting the idea that you are not friends anymore. You still miss him and think about him. i can sometimes control my dreams and its really weird but last night i had the strangest dream and i couldn't control it. the dreams really long.
i was running from the cops and i think i was framed for murder, but i didn't know why. i went to hide out and come across this hotel to stay. i realized i had no money and asked if the manager (who was a girl) to just take what i have. (this is where it gets wierd) instead of charging me she gave me a dollar and let me find a room. it was like she was paying me to stay there. she said something i think it was encouraging (like 'god bless you' or something like that)anyway i was about to check into my room when i ran into my mom...i was pissed at her because i thought she stupidly led the cops to me trying to help so of course i thought i should leave that hotel as fast as possible. when i left helicopters were chasing me and everyone was on my tail. i was in an ally hiding behind a dumpster and a cop riding a bike (yes an actual bike that you pedal)pass by me i thought he missed me but when i moved he rode back and pointed a gun at me. i had a gun to but i dropped it and surrendered. next thing i know my dreams jumps to inside a single small office (he tells me he is a detective). he is really nice to me, to nice and gives me coffee and doesn't even mention the murder. soon tough he asks me weird questions (i don't even remember what they were) then before that's even done another cop comes through the door and the detective that arrested me is gone. the other cop takes me again and later (in his office) tells me the "detective" was a fake and was possibly the one who framed me and to add on to that was wanted for murder. we go out to find him but before we do i wake up.....what the heck does that mean?

I wondered if you could help me understand a dream I often have.
The situation is always different (and random): I am with friends, on my own, with people I don't know, indoors, outdoors etc... There doesn't seem to be a pattern.
I am unable to keep my eyes open, it is a real effort, and despite trying hard, I cannot do it. What I do see, also, is distorted: not so much what I see, but how I see it: it seems that I cannot look ahead of me, but only to the sides, floor - again, it is impossible for me to look straight. So my view is impeded in 2 ways. As a result, I am unable to walk, I stumble (in some dreams, it actually feels like I cannot command my legs) and I fall on the floor. Contradictorily, I can usually speak, very clearly, but I can also feel powerless (a bit like one has a stroke). In the last dream, I was lying on my back, after falling, and I was able to tell someone what they should do (call an ambulance, tell them this, this and this). Any idea what this dream might mean? I've been having the same dream now for about two years. In my dream I have Black hair and blue eyes and I look nothing like that. There is a young man with me who seemed to be in his twenties. Me and this person are running in a very thick forest and suddenly the man stops, looks over his shoulder, turns to face me and yells at me to run. I hear a crashing sound in the distance so I start running again. I don't get very far when I start to hear some one screaming. When the screams start I wake up. After than we all turned our cards so we can see what we had gotten...everyone else had numbers and seemed confused and dissapointed. But every one including me was so suprised to see that I got all jacks queens and kings. Every body was peeking at my cards. I heard someone say that I had gotten the best in the deck and that I had gotten all royals. The last one that I had kept separate turned out to be a queen and that really stood out for me in my dream.
I've gotten tarrot card readings before and I've been told that I pick the best card in the deck when they ask me to pick. So I don't know if that has something to do with my dream.

Briefly reading up about nightmares as experienced by adults, I've discovered that nightmare can be caused by many factors. Some of these are anxieties, post-traumatic stress disorders, sleep deprivation, reaction from medications or alchol or drug useage, withdrawal from alchol or meds, eating just before going to bed and sleep disorder.
If the nightmare is a recurring dream, then I would strongly link it to anxieties or fear as a result of some kind of trauma or unresolved events. This especially if the other factors mentioned above do not relate to you.

So i had a crazy dream last night and i cant seem to understand.It's not leaving me a peace of mind
I was at this park to begin with, few of my friends i tend to go out with were there, we were around this table just hanging out and then my cousin came in his car , he said hi to all my friends but not me really just a wave? After that some friends and i end up going towards the woods...theres a hugee river to cross to the other side.But its forbidden.No one is aloud. So We go anyways. Right when we cross it we see this building, totally gray and creepy all misty.These guys bring us in and we end up all getting pushed in the cell and me, my friend, and the girl i HATE get in one cell and everyone is in a different one. Then Jack for titanic and Rose were in my dream to,They were whispering to eachother saying our loves so strong we can whisper under our breathe to hear eachother....we i guess she was pregnant and the security gaurds herd her and they took her to hang her they said, i was freaking out. Jack went to try to save her but idk what happend with them. Everytime you would have to pee though they would send you to a class room and make you sit in a closet and sit on a chair and close the door and pee.....and if you didnt have pee on your leg they'd hit you. Finally i woke up and got water.......but when i went back to sleep i escaped and was hiding behind the trees in the woods and the bad guys were looking for us but couldnt find us so they were in there car, the just backed up into the river and ended up going back to the forbidden side.This boy that ranaway with us got reunited with his family but for some reason i was the one standing infront of his mom crying....wierd right? Then i woke up:/

I have this guy best friend that I think about quite alot, I think I have feelings for him. We'd get into fights about his girlfriend constantly, nothing serious;after a while I would just drop it, but last night I had this dream that he got hurt, and my dad (who doesn't know about him, by the way)picked him up from some kind of playground, took him in, n he was there in a kind of house with different rooms lying on a stretcher kind of thing. Even though i sort of rejected him at that time, we still have a great friendship, but I'm confused as to whether he still likes me like that..I guess I want him to, but inside I'm doubting it will ever happen. He even says he's gonna marry me, but I kinda don't trust him, because he's kind of a flirt, and i don't want to be with him, and then get my feelings hurt, and additionally, lose our friendship. Well, i think you should know. My best friend ended his relationship (I didn't approve of her,I mentioned that in the 2nd & 3rd line). he told me to call him, when i did, he broke the news, and subsequently told me he 'loved me'. Now,earlier today I saw him post the lyrics to a song on a girl's wall. Something about his heart being a space rocket, and it shooting right at her. I got kinda disturbed, because when i clicked on it, I couldn't see anything..like it had been deleted..so i googled the 1st couple of words that i did see, and it led me to the actual song. I went along with my life..I won't mention anything, of course because we're bestfriends right? I'm not supposed to care about what he does girl-wise. I had a dream where i was with a couple of people (i don't remember who) and we were running from this thing in the forest when we came to a cathedral. We went into the cathedral and the thing that was chasing us came in and tried attacking us. There was a book that we needed to get rid of it and one of the people i was with was reading it. It is said that lucid dream occur during REM, therefore the dark cloud/mist could be your brain not fully insync with your fluttering eyes psychologists call it false wakening. You might also be picking up external sounds, such as a tv or radio. Your body is in complete relaxed mode, almost like being paralyzed. It's as if only your brain is alert while your body is still sleeping.
I've had that experience when I am alert mentally but my eyes are closed or unfocused and my body is completely relaxed.
It is not an experience to be worried about. I consider it a moment of false awakening; consciousness without body awareness.

i had a weird dream about looking at my grave but this is the weird part i get that dream like every year im not kidding its so scary
I had a dream/nightmare about a dark mist and my daughter woke me up at 3 a.m. in the middle of it and she went back to sleep after i told her to and so did i and continued with the dream/nightmare. couldnt see a face as it was just a mist and seemed like it didnt mean any harm whatsoever. i have been seeing it all day and cant get it out of my vision. its driving me crazy. i still see it now. my other half passed away 1/19/12 and does this have something to do with it. never had a dream or vision about this before until now. any suggestions would be welcome. thank you.
